Teach what kids love

Stephen and Lindsey founded ThoughtSTEM to teach kids how to code. As it turned out, the main reason they wanted to learn was so they could mod Minecraft. Stephen even gave a TED talk about this phenomenon:

The short story

LearnToMod is software that Stephen and Lindsey built to help teach kids the kind of coding they wanted to learn. Although at Multi-Dimensional, we make our own games -- we also love gamification of education. Plus, Minecraft is one of the greatest games of all time, so we love promoting it as an educational tool.

LearnToMod provides hundreds of video tutorials, badges to earn, quests to go on, and fun items to unlock. It also has a full-fledged social network around sharing worlds, texture packs, and schematics. It comes with a free Minecraft server that mods can be deployed onto.
